Federica Laura Maggio, member of the research group, tells of the virtuous experience of ecological transition of the Municipality of Serrenti. There are many green initiatives taken by the Municipality in cooperation with the local community: from the initial revolution of the street lighting system to the promotion of a Renewable Energy Community.

Maria Francesca Lucente, member of the ESCOP4Green research group, exposes the reality of "Cenergam", the first Renewable Energy Community in Calabria located in the municipality of Amendolara. The REC, born from the collaboration between the municipal administration and the Fotovoltaica company of Corigliano Rossano, is an eco-sustainable initiative that combines environmental, social and economic benefits.

Giovanni Russo, member of the ESCOP4Green research group, exposes the experience of the first Renewable Energy Community of Italy "Energy city hall". The REC is constituted by the Municipality of Magliano Alpi with the decision of the City Council to join the "Manifesto delle Comunità Energetiche per una centralità attiva del Cittadino nel nuovo mercato dell’energia" promoted by the Energy Center of the Polytechnic of Turin.

Chiara Onorati, member of the ESCOP4Green research group, tells about the reality "Sunny Hill" located in the hinterland of southern Slovenia. This space of cooperation, innovation and supportive environment for research, education and active development practices aims at the sustainable revitalisation of the rural area of Istria.
