Giovanni Russo, member of the ESCOP4Green research group, exposes the experience of the first Renewable Energy Community of Italy "Energy city hall". The REC is constituted by the Municipality of Magliano Alpi with the decision of the City Council to join the "Manifesto delle Comunità Energetiche per una centralità attiva del Cittadino nel nuovo mercato dell’energia" promoted by the Energy Center of the Polytechnic of Turin. It fosters the sustainable development of the territory through the innovative use of renewable sources.
