The Unione Montana Marca di Camerino is formed with six municipalities in the Marche hinterland: Camerino, Fiastra, Muccia, Pieve Torina, Serravalle di Chienti, Ussita. It, composes of different political, cultural and social realities. It is dominated by the mountain range of the Marche Apennines. The geographical conformation allows the exploitation of renewable energy sources including biomass, for a sustainable development of the community. In line with decarbonisation policies, the Montana Union, in fact, approved the preliminary project for reforestation of the area.
