The Municipality of Serrenti, is a small village with a population of 4670 inhabitants that extends with an elongated shape, almost parallel to the highway 131, the main road of the island. The village rises on a slight plateau at the eastern limits of the central-southern Campidano. This is exactly the area where the fertile plain of Campidanese leaves room for slight hilly undulations, the landscape changes and the Mediterranean scrub takes the place of fields cultivated with cereals and vines.
