LABSUS also known as Laboratory for Subsidiarity, is a space for research and reflection founded in 2005 by a diverse group of subjects, belonging to the world of volunteering and civil society. It aims at promoting research and studies on the principle of subsidiarity, enshrined in our Constitution art. 118, the last paragraph of which reads as: "State, Regions, Metropolitan Cities, Provinces and Municipalities promote the autonomous initiative of citizens, individuals and associates, for the performance of activities of general interest, on the basis of the principle of subsidiarity". Over time, LABSUS has transformed itself from a legal-sociological scientific journal into an on-line popular magazine, focused on collecting experiences of active citizenship and the virtuous administration of the common goods. Since 2014, the commitment on the territory has become more and more rooted in different areas of Italy through events raising awareness and projects to promote the culture of shared administration.
